Declarations

I, the named participant (registrant), and on behalf of any persons registered by me through my online account (“my others”), in consideration of and as a condition of acceptance of my/their entry in kayaking, paddling, or other water-based activities, hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims arising out of injury, loss, damage, or death sustained during or as a result of participation in the event. I understand that kayaking and paddling activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falling into water, drowning, capsizing, collision, weather conditions, wind, currents, waves, tides, water conditions, and equipment-related risks, all of which are knowingly and voluntarily assumed by me and my others. I hereby acknowledge and confirm that I am able to swim and possess sufficient swimming skills to participate safely in open water activities, and that this acknowledgment applies to myself and my others registered by me. I accept full responsibility for participation based on this acknowledgment. This waiver shall apply separately to all individuals, companies, and organizations involved in organizing or managing the event, including their officers, employees, agents, and representatives. I declare that I can swim. I will wear a life jacket throughout the race.
